The 'Transat Jacques Vabre' returns to Nautical Channel. Follow the multihulls and monohulls from the start at Le Havre to their arrival to Martinique. Inspired by the historic coffee trade routes between Europe and the New World, this race takes its competitors on a non-stop double-handed competition from France to Martinique. For a shot at victory sailors will have to remain vigilant in this extreme test of endurance and maritime skill. The Transat Jacques Vabre finds the way to maintain a world class sailing competition as participants will have to live together under excruciating conditions for the duration of the journey. In this edition, the four different classes will be parting ways at Cape Verde, Fernando de Noronha and Trindade e Martim Vaz and will compete in the 4.600, 5.800 and 7.500 nm formats. Working together in the harshest and toughest conditions, the Transat Jacques Vabre is definitely not for the faint of heart. Follow the journey of the crew of the multihulls and monohullsas they battle against the dangers of the Atlantic Ocean.
