The SIAD Bombola D'Oro Trophy is a regatta organized by the Italian Yacht Club, and a classic event in Italy's sailing season. Situated in the picturesque bay of Portofino, this vintage regatta is a classic spectacle that drives the attention of people across Europe.The Bombola D'Oro partly connects its success to its boat class: the Dingy 12'. Designed in 1913, this class has maintained its appeal and tradition despite the assaults from extreme technical novelties.
