niedziela, 24 listopada 21:00Jazzahead!, Bremen, Germany. Annual trade fair, exhibition, and festival jazzahead! is one of the international jazz community's most important events. Hosted in Bremen, Germany, jazzahead! brings together musicians, bookers, agents, organizers, jazz experts, and music enthusiasts at the worldâs largest jazz event. In 2024 jazzahead! focused on the Netherlands with over 40 artists preforming over the course of three days. Luc Ben Abdeslam, better known as Daoud, is a multifaceted musician from Toulouse who excels as a trumpeter, record producer, mixer, songwriter, and composer. Having gained extensive experience as a sideman, the French musician now spearheads a vibrant young quintet that has quickly become a sensation on the French music scene. With their irreverent music full of emotion and irony, the group captivates audiences with their fresh, charismatic performances and Daoud's playful humor. Their music, which blends elements of jazz, hip-hop, R&B, blues, and soul, has led them from winning competitions in 2022 to opening for renowned artists like Lakecia Benjamin and Eric Truffaz in 2023. The group has also graced the stages of major festivals, including those in Montreal and Juan-les-Pins. The lineup includes Luc Ben Abdeslam (trumpet), Etienne Manchon (keys), Louis Navarro (double bass), Felix Robin (vibraphone), and Guillaume âWisedrumâ Prevost (drums).
