Jazz Club Moods, ZĂźrich, Switzerland. Brazilian singer-songwriter Maria do CĂSu Whitaker Poças, better known as CĂSu, grew up in a musical family. She studied music theory and plays the acoustic guitar known as the 'violĂŁo'. Her debut album, CĂSU, received a Grammy nomination in the category 'Best Contemporary World Music Album' in 2008. In the years that followed, CĂSu received several other nominations and awards. Her music reveals traces of samba, soul, African music, pop, and electrojazz. In this 2017 concert, CĂSu is accompanied by David BovĂSe (guitar), JoĂŁo LeĂŁo (keyboard), Lucas Martins (bass), and Thomas Harres (drums).
